Pichler-Krutzler 2012年份的 Grüner Veltliner "Wunderburg"來自著名 Kellerberg 的岩石延伸地塊 … 質地如絲般柔滑,口感寬廣且果味濃郁,融合了桃子與青豆的風味;在餘韻中更釋放出多樣的礦物感。酒精度達 14%,帶來一絲可察覺的暖意。在質感的精緻度、層次分明的複雜性或趣味性方面,略遜於其最強的同系列酒款。不過,我仍會放心地追隨它的表現。
Elisabeth Pichler-Krutzler from the Wachau and Erich Krutzler from the Burgenland founded their own wine estate in the Wachau in 2006. Both husband and wife originated from famous wine-making families. Together, they craft wines of great soul and individuality, based on a respect form nature and sustainable viticultural practice.
The Pichler-Krutzler wines are pure, unadulterated and made without compromise to quality. Each wine is the reflection of its own terroir, harvested, raised and bottled without blending. Since there is no chaptalization, no juice concentration, no fining or additives of any sort, all the wines express their origins plain and clear. Just high-grade handcraft without any fancy trends.
Wunderburg is a single vineyard in Wachau, located above Dürnstein along the Danube valley. Its gneiss and sandstone soils provide excellent drainage and distinct minerality, while the pronounced diurnal temperature variation slows ripening and nurtures Grüner Veltliner to show pear, white pepper, and herbal freshness, balanced by elegant acidity and a subtle saline touch, yielding a transparent and layered style.

Pichler and Krutzler’s 2012 Gruner Veltliner Wunderburg – from a rocky extension of the famed Kellerberg ... Satiny in texture, expansive and richly-fruited in its meld of peach and green bean, this delivers a veritable eruption of diverse mineral notes in its finish. Faint warmth is detectable from 14% alcohol, and this lacks the textural refinement, delineated complexity or intrigue of its strongest immediate siblings; but I would feel free to follow it through.
