Saicho is a premium tea brand founded by Hong Kong entrepreneur Natalie Chiu and her husband Charlie Winkworth-Smith, dedicated to crafting sparkling cold-brew teas with elegance and precision.

Each tea in their collection is sourced from a single origin, highlighting the purity and unique character of its terroir. The leaves undergo a meticulous 24-hour cold-brew process, followed by delicate carbonation, resulting in a texture that’s silky-smooth and champagne-like — perfect for pairing with fine cuisine or elevating any occasion.

Darjeeling is often referred to as the “Champagne of teas” for its deep fruity and floral flavour.  Grown in the foothills of the Himalayas in Darjeeling, India, this black tea is renowned for its delicate character and complex aroma.

Each year, the tea is cultivated in four distinct periods, known as “flushes,” with each flush offering its own unique flavour profile. This particular tea is hand-picked in the summer, when its signature muscatel flavour is at its peak.
