Rothschild家族的Baron Phlippe於1970年買入這片被遺忘的土地，並決定翻新，最終令它成為有級數的酒莊。多得Baroness Philippine，Clerc Milon已是波爾多中多個獲高度讚賞的酒莊之一。
因為酒標上的雙小丑公仔，Château Clerc Milon 暱稱為”雙公”。
