Made by the Knockdhu Distillery which is situated beneath the black knock hill, known to the locals by its name of anChoc. Established in 1894. With a rich supply of barley, peat and crisp, clear springs of water close at hand. Couple that with the presence of the Great North of Scotland railway, the founder John Morrison embraced the opportunity to turn a gift of nature into wonderful whisky.
The anCnoc 12 Years Old exhibits a gentle, non-sherried, non-peated style of whisky. It is light and yet complex. Smooth and approachable, with each twist and turn delivering a surprise.
