ORDERING PROCESS​

You will receive a first automatic confirmation email once your payment is processed. Once your order processed within our system:

For Deliveries
Our customer service will send you a WhatsApp message to confirm your delivery date preference based on our schedule.
Upon your request, our delivery staff will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to your delivery, on the agreed date, to confirm that you are home.

For Pick-up
You will receive a WhatsApp message to confirm when you can come to collect your products.
Please pick up your orders within 3 working days.
If you have not pick-up your order after 7 working days, extra demurrage / storage charge may applies towards every additional days.

DELIVERY AREAS & SCHEDULE

We deliver within Hong Kong
including: Hong Kong Island / Kowloon / New Territories

We also offer quoted delivery service to Macao and Taiwan for Non Spirits (Wines Only) upon request, please stated your region during checkout, our staff will send you a special quotation. Please note that customer is responsible for all taxes and import duties involved in the recipient's country. 

On average within Hong Kong, your order will be ready within 1 to 3 business days, after your payment. We cannot guarantee a shorter time window.

Sens Wine Cellar offers delivery service from Monday to Saturday (10:00am to 6:00pm), except public holidays, to any address within Hong Kong area.

Sens Wine Cellar reserves the rights to assign delivery service to 3rd party without notice.

Delivery coverage
Delivery service is not available at restricted areas, non-permanent address, frontier closed areas, outlying islands, warehouse and premises which are not accessible by elevator.
Designated outlying island areas including Discovery Bay, Ma Wan and Tung Chung, may subject to additional charge. However, other outlying islands (such as: Cheung Chau, Lantau Island, Mui Wo, Tai O, and Hong Kong International Airport) are currently out of our service coverage area.

Elevator access
If elevator is not available at the premises / out-of-service when the time of delivery, additional stair charge may applies for each floor except the ground floor (every ten steps in sum will regarded as an individual floor).
Regarding the charges of delivery and other additional charges, these shall be paid on cash to the delivery staff directly.
Please contact us for the details on the special arrangements towards staircase delivery, and/or if any charges may induced.

PICK-UP LOCATION

If you choose this pick up products instead of delivery, we will invite you to visit our Tsuen Wan shop during opening hours.

ORDER CONFIRMATION & DELIVERY DELAY

At confirmation of your order, our customer service will call you to confirm preferred delivery/pick-up date (for deliveries, see DELIVERY AREAS & SCHEDULE section).

For both delivery and pick-up, if our Customer Service fails to reach you by phone, we will email you 2 date options, with a confirmation deadline of 10 business days.

Alcohol Control Regulation

Under the law of Hong Kong, our delivery staff will have the legal obligation to ascertain whether the recipient is over 18 years old before handing over the alcohol. If the recipient is under 18 years old OR unable to present the HKID card (or other proof of identity) to our delivery staffs, we shall not handing over the alcohol. In this event, customer will be contacted to reschedule delivery.

Plastic Shopping Bag Environmental Levy Scheme
- 香港法例第603A章《產品環保責任(塑膠購物袋)規例》Product Eco-responsibility (Plastic Shopping Bags) Regulation (Cap. 603A)
Under the law of Hong Kong, we will collect a charge of HK$1 per bag.
For delivery orders, customer can request in advance and the charges shall be paid on cash to the delivery staff directly at the time of delivery.
For pick-up orders, customer can request when visit our shop and the charges shall be paid to the shop staff.

Adverse Weather Arrangement
Delivery services shall delay when typhoon signal, a red or black rainstorm warning is hoisted; or such other weather conditions whereby delivery is considered unsafe.
In this event, customer will be contacted to reschedule delivery time.

IN CASE OF NO CONFIRMATION

Shall we not manage to get a confirmation by email or phone, your order might be automatically cancelled. No refund can be granted in case of failure to confirm a delivery/pick-up deadline. Beyond the cancellation date, we can re-arrange goods delivery/pick-up, but with no guarantee of products' availability.

DELIVERY CONDITIONS

Your order will be packed either in carton box or shopping bags. We recommend you to recycle/reuse to packing material for sake of protecting environment.

Please try to make sure someone is home to collect the goods.
Shall our delivery staff fail to hand over the goods in person, they will be instructed to leave them at your door. We cannot accept responsibility for goods left outside at the customer's request.

PICK-UP CONDITIONS

We invite you to visit us on the date agreed. You will be very welcomed to bring your own shopping bag(s) before you visiting us. Plastic shopping bag charge will applies to each bag provided under the regulation of HK government.

Please pick up your orders within 3 working days.
If you have not pick-up your order after 7 working days, extra demurrage / storage charge may applies towards every additional days.
We do not accept any responsibility for goods if customers not picking up the goods after 7 working days.

PAYMENT METHODS

All our customers must pay their order in full before our teams can proceed further.
We do not accept payment by cash on delivery (except for the stair charge).

PRICE & VINTAGE

All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars inclusive of the duty tax at the prevailing rate and offered in Hong Kong unless stated otherwise.
If the requested vintage is no longer available, we will notify the vintage change and customer will have to confirm the change in order to delivery the goods.

STORAGE SERVICE

We do not provide storage service at any means.

LOSSES & BREAKAGE

Customers are requested to inspect all goods immediately upon delivery and/or pick-up at shop, and shall notify us forthwith for any shortage or damage.
We do not accept any responsibility for goods left outside at the customer's request or if customers not picking up the goods after 7 working days.
Any report of damage or shortage shall not be accepted once if the delivery documents are signed and/or chopped AND/OR if the customers left our shop for pick-up orders.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We reserve the right to cancel unpaid orders at any time after 5 working days.

REFUND/REPLACE POLICY

All wines are offered subject to remaining unsold and subject to our confirmation. All goods sold are strictly non-exchangeable and non-refundable. We shall, at our discretion, consider the replacement of that particular opened bottles of any case sold, where the wine is cork tainted (TCA) or not at the drinkable quality with the condition of keeping the original bottle with remaining wines for our examination, or else no replacement will be accepted.

FORCE MAJEURE

Sens Wine Cellar shall not be liable for any delay or failure in its performance caused by or resulting from acts of fire, flood, typhoon, accident, riot, war, government intervention, embargoes, strikes, labor difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sens Wine Cellar.

DISPUTE

In case of any dispute, Sens Wine Cellar Ltd. reserves the right of final decision and interpretation.
