In 1985, Troplong Mondot's policy of searching for new levels of quality in its wine led to the introduction of added rigor in the selection process for its top wine. This resulted in the birth of the estate's «Other Wine», Mondot, which over the ensuing years has become
established as a great growth in its own right with its hallmark elegance and silky tannins.
