Domaine Ghislaine Barthod is one of the most respected estates in Chambolle‑Musigny. Founded in the 1920s, it is now run by Ghislaine Barthod together with her son Clément Boillot.
Barthod is known for a pure, terroir‑driven style, working with low yields, strict pruning, and rarely more than 30% new oak, ensuring that the fruit character remains clear. Her Pinot Noir combines the appellation’s hallmark floral notes with firm structure, and is often described by critics as a textbook expression of Chambolle‑Musigny.
Les Cras is the estate's flagship wine. Situated right next to the Grand Cru Bonnes-Mares, it is powerful with distinct minerality, combining great intensity with the signature elegance and finesse of Chambolle.
