"My aim is to promote the vineyards of Bordeaux through high-quality, extremely accessible wines that reveal the very best of their terroir." -- Hubert de Boüard
Hubert de Boüard是人稱「大金鐘」的知名酒莊Château Angélus(Former Saint-Emilion 1st Grand Cru Classé)的莊主之一,亦是舉世聞名的釀酒顧問。

Hubert de Boüard is the joint owner of Château Angélus, Former Saint-Emilion 1st Grand Cru Classé, and a world-renowned consultant oenologist. He has joined forces with Yvon Mau, Bordeaux wine traders since 1897, to reveal some little-known but fine, high potential terroirs. They share the same ambition: to craft exemplary Bordeaux wines in a fruity, beautifully-balanced style that is accessible to all.
The majority of the vines are in a single block with clay-limestone soils surrounding Chateau de la Pierre Levée in Bazille, in the commune of Salles-de-Castillon to the northwest of the appellation. The estate overlooks a superb vineyard covering hillsides with perfect exposure. The Chateau's name is a reference to an imposing two-metre-high dolmen, a designated historic monument found next to the 16 hectares vineyard.
