This Special Edition 12 Year Old reveals richly vibrant depths. It is matured for 12 years in American and European oak sherry casks and finished in Amontillado casks.
The Amontillado sherry (Angel Sherry) casks are from the Spanish sherry region of Jerez. They are the rarest sherry casks, only make up less than 5% of all the casks that imported by Glenfiddich, illustrating their rarity and desirability. They enhance the lively notes of dried fruits and a delicately spicy finish to the sweet, fruity character of their Original Twelve.
