Aberlour Whisky was founded by James FLeming in 1879, which was born in the village of Aberlour. All the single malts are made with the best local ingredients of barley and pure spring water from nearby mountain, Ben Rinnes. Moreover, generations of craftsmen make it one of the most popular Scotch single malt brands in the world.
In the 2022 International Whiskey Competition (IWC), Aberlour's distiller, Graeme Cruickshank, won the Master Distiller of the Year award.
Double Cask Matured
This single malt has been matured in two different casks: American oak and the finest Spanish Sherry. After 16 years, the craftsmen bring the spirits in both casks together to get the right balance of depth and flavour. With the depth and complexity that comes from being matured for 16 years, this expression's warm and fruity notes are enriched by an engagingly spicy sweetness.
