在1960年代末期,Maestros del Ron Cubano開啟了古巴冧酒的新一頁。他們以「持續陳年」的方法去釀酒:每批Havana 7會留下最後的一小部分,再倒回木桶中陳年,以用作未來造酒之用,以保持Havana Club 7的活力。這提升了我們的高級冧酒的複雜度,飲家更發掘真正的古巴味道。
這個周期過程時至今日仍然繼續,因此Havana 7在數十年後仍然盛載著來自原桶首批酒的味道。建議飲用方法:可以淨飲,也可以古巴風格飲用──以一片橙放進咖啡當中,或以一滴古巴苦精精華作配搭。

In the late 1960s the Maestros del Ron Cubano pioneered a new chapter in Cuban rum. For Havana 7 they created the ‘continuous ageing’ process: part of each final batch of Havana 7 is put back in the barrel to age, to be used in a future production - so keeping the spirit of Havana 7 alive. This creates the great complexity that makes drinking our premium Cuban sipping rum a true exploration of Cuban flavours.
And the cyclical process continues today, so Havana 7 will always contain the spirit of that original batch from decades ago. It’s special enough to be enjoyed neat, or served with a Cuban twist: either a slice of orange dipped in finely ground coffee, or with a dash of The Bitter Truth Essence of Cuba.

This dark rum matured in barrels reveals the rich natural flavours of cuba.
Havana 7 holds the tastes of the Cuban terroir: aromatic tobacco, the sweet tropical fruits of the Cuban garden, molasses, spices and vanilla from the long ageing unfold, enhanced by the slow release of aromas.
Rum Old Fashioned Cocktail Recipe:
Step 1: In a lowball glass, dissolve the sugar and the bitters in the Havana 7.
Step 2: Fill the glass with ice and stir to dilute the ice for 30 seconds.
Step 3: Garnish with a twist of orange peel
