Mortlach是達夫鎮(Dufftown)首間獲得牌照的蒸餾廠,以其獨特的蒸餾方式聞名:用6座蒸餾器來達至2.81次的特殊蒸餾次數。這種製作工藝(大家稱之為“The Way”)120多年來一直保持不變,為其大膽而複雜的口味奠定了基礎。Mortlach亦因為這種非傳統的獨門蒸餾方法,以及強而有力的味道,而被專家及威士忌迷稱為「達夫鎮的野獸」。

Mortlach was the first licenced distillery in Dufftown. It is famed for its 2.81 timed distilled through 6 stills. This making process (known by all as “The Way”) has remained unchanged over 120 years and set the foundation for its bold and complex taste. Revered by experts and its fans, Mortlach was known as the “Beast of Dufftown” for our unconventional process and robust flavour.
Mortlach 16-year-old has been matured in only Sherry casks to impart rich, fruity, and fragrant notes atop the beasty complexity synonymous with Mortlach. A drop or two of water to enhance the sweetness and meatiness.
